The Position: Senior Brand Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic multitasker who has shown an ability to lead and organize teams to develop world-class creative work. As this role will have day-to-day interaction with our team, as well as local and national clients, this person must also demonstrate maturity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a full-time role, based in Austin, Texas.
To succeed in the role, you will need to work collaboratively with our clients and internal team to effectively coordinate specific project needs with varying deadlines, to ensure each project is completed on time and on budget for our clients. You will be asked to manage multiple projects across touchpoints, including brand identity, strategy, packaging, web, physical consumer experiences (retail and events), social media, advertising, digital media (websites, emails, and digital advertising), merch, and internal projects.
You will need to have the ability to think strategically to help solve business problems, communicate effectively, and delegate responsibilities, all with the goal of delivering the strongest end product for our clients. Being able to simultaneously get into the weeds of a project, without losing sight of the 30,000-foot view, will be vital.
Requirements
6+ years in an advertising or in-house brand/project management role
Prior experience with branding, CPG, and hospitality projects
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different demands
Proactive, supportive, empathetic, and able to bring a positive, problem-solving mentality to every project
Excellent written communication, both short and long-form to maintain direct and professional communication with clients and vendors
Be able to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines and projects without breaking a sweat
Should be comfortable in a client-facing role and be able to manage both the internal team and client expectations
Have the ability to navigate potentially sticky situations with grace and ease
Ability to work collaboratively with a small and cohesive team of designers, writers, strategists, developers, and brand managers
An appreciation for and ability to understand great design, while having the technical aptitude to translate between client partners and the creative team
Be able to foresee client and team needs before they arise
An eye for grammar and proofreading is a bonus
