Working with the founders of Sable feels like catching up with old friends—and that’s the exact sentiment behind Sable Bourbon, a new bourbon created by three of the storied cast members of “The Best Man” films: Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, and the film’s director, Malcolm D. Lee. The creative team reunited to launch and promote the new bourbon brand in signature style.
Sable was inspired by the founder’s passion for storytelling and whiskey-making. They, along with Bespoken Spirits, tapped us to craft brand packaging to reflect those values and their impeccable sense of style. The bottle is a picture of elegance, housed in a sleek design with simple black and silver design details.
Inside, you’ll find a blend of the traditional bourbon grains for a familiar flavor profile. However, the mash bill gives you the best insight into what to expect when sipping. Composed of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, Sable is crafted to have a unique palate of burnt sugar, dark chocolate, marzipan, and pear, with decent oak and spiced aromas. It’s bottled in brotherhood, and the perfect compliment to a meaningful evening with friends.
